Rules every profession shares
Changing profession Switch any time. The profession you drop forgets everything: level, Proficiency, gathering mastery and discovered recipes. Your character level is never lost.
Gathering mastery Yield per click grows with practice: ×1 for a beginner, ×2 after 9 gathers, ×3 after 99, ×4 after 999. Tools and Proficiency add on top.
Craftsmanship Each item's grade comes from how many its maker has finished: Fine from 9, Superior from 99, Masterwork from 999, Legendary from 9,999, Mythic from 99,999.
Discovery Try up to 4 ingredients at the workplace. Each attempt uses one of each; every miss at the right combination makes the next try likelier, and wrong ones give hints.
Open to everyone Anyone can forage wild berries. Anyone can wear armour: non-Soldiers are slowed less by armour ÷ (armour + 25) when ambushed.
Caravans Anyone can hire one at a market stall. When caught, goods lost = 50% × (1 − share of the attackers' strength the party removed).
